NTTC is pleased to present the 2018 Cargo Tank Test & Inspection Workshops, hosted in partnership with the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). These workshops are designed to help cargo tank repair technicians, testers, and inspectors comply with current regulations – whether as a bulk motor carrier or as a commercial repair facility. We have three exclusive NTTC Cargo Tank & Inspection Workshops remaining in 2018:

NTTC recently refined our mission: to champion safety and success in the tank truck community through advocacy and education. We've revamped our entire education function and launched a national program, Tank Truck University, in line with our new mission. TTU provides an opportunity for tank truck carriers to share best practices and stay current with compliance and training. We’ve established a wide variety of online and in-person training programs that are promoted exclusively to NTTC members, including our USDOT Cargo Tank Workshops – which ensures the most value possible for your membership dues.

These workshops are conducted by experienced USDOT / FMCSA field agents who are active in hazardous material and cargo tank training and enforcement – with special training in the details of cargo tank regulatory requirements. They use their experience in conducting facility audits to introduce "real world" issues into the workshops.

Each workshop focuses on compliance with the USDOT’s cargo tank qualification and maintenance regulations found in 49 CFR Parts 107 and 180. Workshops also provide analysis of the complex series of federal regulations, helping carriers and repair facilities to achieve full compliance. Information on all MC and DOT series cargo tanks will be included in the curriculum.
