NTTC’s Tank Truck Week Sets Performance Records
Tank Truck Week is the Largest Gathering of Tank Truck Professionals to Date
Houston, TX, November 13, 2014 – The National Tank Truck Carriers (NTTC) announced today that its recent Tank Truck Week program set performance records for attendance, booth sales, and equipment spots. The program was held in Houston, Texas in recognition of the importance of the significant economic impact of the North American energy services and chemical markets. This year’s Tank Truck Week event featured our largest crowd ever including over 1450 total attendees comprised of executives, key operations personnel, safety professionals, and trailer technicians enrolled in our cargo tank workshop. Tank Truck Week also included 200 exhibitors and 80 specialized trailers spread-out across 250,000 square feet of exhibit space that represented over $10,000,000 of specialized equipment and components that are mission-critical for our essential industry.
“This was the largest NTTC event in history and I think it’s most important to recognize the correlation of the strength of our industry with the strength of Tank Truck Week,” said NTTC Chairman Dean Kaplan. “Our gratitude is due to our many sponsors and exhibitors whose products and services allow our carriers to prosper in one of the most challenging and unique segments of transportation. I would also like to recognize all of those attendees whose support was key to our success.”
