NTTC Provides Congressional Testimony on Midwest Propane Crisis

NTTC board member Shorty Whittington from Grammer Industries, Inc. testified on March 6th on behalf of NTTC and ATA members before the Energy and Power Subcommittee of the House Energy and Commerce Committee.   The hearing is entitled Benefits of and Challenges to Energy Access in the 21st Century: Fuel Supply and Infrastructure and includes testimony from American Association of Railroads (AAR), the National Propane Gas Association (NPGA), the Interstate Natural Gas Association of America (INGAA), and other players who have been active in the propane distribution chain during this vexing crisis in the Midwest.    The NTTC and ATA were invited to participate in this hearing by the Committee as a follow-up to our involvement in an emergency meeting with Congressman Bob Latta (OH-5th) on January 30th.  For additional information, go to:: http://energycommerce.house.gov/hearing/benefits-and-challenges-energy-access-21st-century-fuel-supply-and-infrastructure.
