Wisconsin Declares Energy Emergency for Residential Fuel Hauling

On January 6, Wisconsin Governor Evers has issued Executive Order #183 declaring an energy emergency in Wisconsin citing limited supplies and challenging delivery conditions of residential heating fuel.

In this energy emergency declaration, Governor Evers waived hours of service requirements for drivers transporting residential heating fuel. This declaration of emergency shall be in effect as long as drivers transporting residential heating fuel (heating oil & propane) and are providing assistance for the emergency or for a period of thirty days from the date of the order, whichever is shorter.
